We use the Kidcheck check-in system for all our Sunday and Wednesday night children's activities. This includes:
- Nursery (Praise Pond)
- Adventure Ark (ages 3-K5)
- Kidzforce (grades 1-6)
- Royal Rangers (boys)
- mPact (girls)

We will be posting information on the home page of this blog to help you learn more about this valuable tool, and the many options it offers to enhance your child's security and experience at Evangel.
We offer a great experience for your child ages birth - 36 months in our Praise Pond! The nursery is open 10 minutes before each service/event. Our Nursery is staffed with adult servants, that have been background checked and approved. Our nursery has a large play room, a room for showing videos, and a crib/nursing mothers room. During your child's stay they will typically play with the toys, have a snack, watch a video and sing. We believe the nursery is ministry, not baby sitting.
We use Kidcheck (see above) to securely check in each child. Kidcheck will print out a label for you child and if you wish you can print out an additional label for the diaper bag. Your Kidcheck account allows you to indicate any allergies or health concerns that we will need to know about, as well as ensures that no one can pick up your child without your consent. When you pick up your child you will be asked to show the unique guardian label that matches your child.
Also, we ask that you enable SMS messaging in your free Kidcheck account so that we can send a text to your cell phone, if your child requires your attention.
Concerns:
- Please make sure your child is in a clean diaper when you drop them off.
- Please bring a diaper bag if possible, containing all the essentials (diaper, clothes, bottle, etc.)
- We do not administer medications, please be sure that is taken care of beforehand.
- Please do not bring children to the nursery if they have had: a fever (within 24 hours), rash, infection, consistent coughing, vomiting, diarrhea, colored nasal discharge, eye discharge, any acute infectious disease.
We would like to encourage anyone over 13 to serve in this vital ministry. If your child regularly is in the Nursery we request that you sign up to help for at least one service every couple months, you will see first hand the care given to each child. As a member of the Evangel Nursery Team you will see how fun it is to watch the little children learn about Jesus.
